A Word from David Stockwell

My dear friends,
Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus! I am honored to have the opportunity to serve this year as president of Conference of Texas Baptist Evangelists. God is doing great things across America, and around the world. I am so thrilled at the way God is using so many of you to reach out in communities across Texas, around the US, and internationally.
I know you join me in welcoming our new officers for this year ~ Marion Warren, serving as our Vice-President; Gary Newman, our Secretary/Treasurer; my wife, Amy, as Music Director; Bill Sky-Eagle as Assistant Music Director; Clifford Neal as Parliamentarian; and Chet Haney as our Pastor Advisor. It's going to be a great year and I'm excited about working with these godly men and women, and the possibilities of this coming year.
I believe in the office and the work of the God-called evangelist. I am committed to preaching the Good News of Christ without compromise, wherever God opens doors for me to do so. I believe we are living in a pivotal time in our nation's history, and indeed in the history of the world.
Our calling as evangelists is more vital, more compelling, and perhaps even more important than ever before.
As we reach out to people who are lost and on their way to hell, let us preach the Cross of Christ unashamedly, with power and anointing from the very throne of God! That is our mandate and our responsibility before God, and I am confident and joyful, knowing that every one of you is going out there to do the Work of The Evangelist, fulfilling your role and pleasing the heart of God.
Along with our evangelistic ministry through revivals in churches, school programs, international missions, and a multitude of outreach events...Texas Baptist Evangelists are leading thousands of people to Christ, and I want to commend and encourage you as you continu
e in your work of ministry.
