Confirmation 2 : Parent Meeting (including Catholic School)
SIGN-UP for "Confirmation - A New Beginning" Meeting

April 21, 2017
Required Parents' Meeting for Confirmation Preparation
"Confirmation - A New Beginning"

Our first foundational element of the new Confirmation Preparation program is the involvement of the parents in their Confirmation Candidate's preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.  This includes mandatory attendance to two Parent Meetings: The Program Introduction Meeting (at the beginning of Confirmation 1) and the "Confirmation - A New Beginning" Meeting (this meeting).

The purpose of this 2nd and final meeting is to provide the parents and guardians with the information they need to prepare their child for the Sacrament of Confirmation Mass in November 2017; provide the ways the Sacrament of Confirmation creates a New Beginning in their child's and family's life; provide the highlights of what the Confirmation Candidates learned in the Decision Point  Confirmation Preparation Program; and answer any questions the parents may have.

In addition, a list of outstanding Confirmation Preparation requirements for each Candidate will be available at all tables.

Attendance Requirement : Attendance is required by one parent (highly recommend both) of all St. Mary Parish Confirmation Candidates scheduled to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on November 10 or 11, 2017.

Parents of those Candidates attending area Catholic Schools are required to attend one of these two meetings.

Parents are given two choices of dates, selecting one that best fits their schedule. To Sign-Up for this  Parent Meeting, please select the link below for the option (date/time) that works best for your schedule. Then select the SIGN-UP NOW! button on the page and complete the form.

Arrival Instructions: Please take a seat at one of the tables. At each table is a roster of all Confirmation Candidates. Find your child's name and PRINT your first name and attending spouse in the indicated block next to your child's name. Also make note of the outstanding Confirmation Preparation requirements.

Thank You!!
Thank you Parents and Confirmation Candidates for a very successful year in our Confirmation Preparation Program "Decision Point".

Confirmation Candidates,
My time with you these past 2 years have been very rewarding to me. I would like to give a special thanks to Father Chris for is invaluable contribution of prayers and counsel in this year's program.
I continue to pray for  you during your preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. You have received an incredible gift in this program and the "Decision Point" Workbook. Read it often during your moments of prayer and reflection in your silent classroom. I look forward to seeing you all again for the Rehearsal and Confirmation Mass.

God Bless You,

Mr. Roger Gullo
St. Mary's Confirmation Director
