Open Hearts is a Pesach exhibit focused on themes of softening the heart, as Bithiah (Pharaoh's daughter) did when she saved Moshe and as Pharaoh did when he finally let the Israelites go. Pesach offers many lessons on opening our hearts that are interpreted in artworks in diverse media.

PJ Library Russian Programmer
PJ Library Calgary and Calgary Jewish Federation are hiring a part-time Russian-speaking educator to plan and implement PJ Library programs for the Russian-speaking community.
The successful candidate will:
Work as part of the PJ Library team to further programs, services and engagement of Russian-speaking parents, grandparents and children.
Work with the PJ Library professional to plan and implement 4 to 6 PJ Library Programs over the course of a year.
Communicate with and reach out to Russian-speaking Jewish families.
Develop and maintain a Russian and Hebrew language PJ Library social media presence.
Job requirements:
Russian as a first-language
Fluent in English and Hebrew
Must have a teaching degree or diploma 
Experience working with pre-school and early elementary-aged children
Familiarity with Jewish traditions and culture
Familiarity with Jewish songs in Russian and Hebrew 
Must be available on weekends
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Able to work collaboratively with a team

Program Consultant - Montefiore Institute
The Program Consultant will assist in the continued operations and further development of the interpretation program for the Montefiore Institute exhibit (or Little Synagogue) at Heritage Park. The exhibit provides a venue for the sharing of the history, culture and traditions of Jewish immigrants to western Canada. The contract runs from April1 – December 31, 2017.  Hours will vary weekly throughout that time, with more time required in spring, and an average of one day per week throughout summer and fall.  This is a fee for service contract, up to a maximum of 200 hours.
