brought to a close the 40
th
and final day of the 2017 legislative session. This year, there was no shortage controversy or debate as we discussed casino gaming, medical cannabis, public safety, healthcare access and education reform.
Although some measures were more successful than others, because it is the first year of a two-year election cycle, bills not passing by the Sine Die deadline will be on the table at the beginning of next year's session. You can read my full Sine Die Update below.
