EMS ISD Employee Service Awards Luncheon

Plans are well underway for the  annual EMS ISD Employee Recognition Luncheon, set for April 18. This event recognizes employees who have dedicated 20, 25, 30, 35 and more years of service to EMS ISD and also honors employees who are retiring this school year.

Invitations will be going out next week to this year's honorees. In addition, each campus/department will be celebrating all their service award honorees (5, 10, 15, and up) with a special site-based celebration in the coming weeks.

Capture the moment and tag us in all of your photos! #emsproud

Digital Spring Cleaning Tip #1: Teacher Laptops

It's that time of year ... longer days, gorgeous fields of bluebonnets, and Spring Cleaning projects. In addition to closets, kitchen cabinets, and junk drawers, you should also take the time to do some  DIGITAL SPRING CLEANING ! We'll focus on different topics over the next few weeks.

Benefits Corner
2017-2018 Spring Open Enrollment

FAQs

Q. What benefits are covered in the Open Enrollment?
A. April Open Enrollment is for all benefits in the 2017-2018 plan year, excluding medical. For example: dental, vision, disability, flexible spending, life insurance, etc.

The TRS Active-Care Board will not meet to determine the medical plans and rates for 2017-2018 until June. Therefore, there will be a separate open enrollment process for medical during the summer.

Q. Can employees complete their enrollment online?
Online enrollment will be open 04/03/17 - 04/13/17.
