Pizza Friday is This Week
Friday, March 24, is Pizza Friday.  In observance of Lent, only cheese pizza will be available,  $1/slice. O'Hara's Student Council will be selling bottled water & sports drinks for $1/bottle. Thank you to our Pizza Moms, to our friends at Domino's Pizza, and to Student Council for making our Pizza Days happen!
Back Parking Lot Update
The pot holes in the back lot will be repaired over Spring Break - thank you to Western Asphalt for their generosity in making the repairs.
We recognize that our back parking lot is less than ideal, and it is part of our future plans for the area to be paved. However, as with any non-profit, our resources are finite, and using resources on our parking lot means less resources for other areas, such as curriculum, technology, teacher professional development and more urgent facilities projects. Thank you for tolerating a few 'bumps in the road' and for being so patient with us!
Financial Assistance for 2017-18 School Year
Families who are unable to pay the full monthly tuition amount for the 2017/2018 school year are required to apply for scholarship through the FACTS process. The on-line application is  https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3GKCR. Missing the deadline can affect the amount available to all families at O'Hara. The deadline for online applications is March 31, 2017 Assistance will not be allocated to families who do not complete a FACTS application.  If you are a Catholic family requesting scholarship, you must also apply for subsidy from your parish. This is a prerequisite to receiving scholarships for Catholics.
Project Starfish!
Project Starfish is the brainchild of former Springfield Mayor and State Senator Bill Morrisette. The project's goal is to break the cycle of homelessness one family at a time. Each year the O'Hara community joins together by participating in a variety of fundraising projects during the season of Lent in an effort to raise funds to help homeless families through a partnership with Catholic Community Services.

Click HERE to read a schedule of events and activities that will be happening at O'Hara during Lent. The project will conclude with an assembly when the funds from our efforts will be presented to a representative of Catholic Community Services.
