A new year for United 4 Children means we ended the last with our Annual Campaign.  The Annual Campaign always gives us a boost of energy to enter a New Year motivated and refreshed to achieve our mission of improving the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of our children.

United 4 Children was contacted by a child care center in reference to a 2 year old child that is not able to use his words. The teachers say although Steven makes noises he points but doesn't speak.

Join us for a Kentucky Derby Style Affair to Ensure High Quality Childcare For All.  The Kentucky Derby styled event will be held April 6th at Randall Gallery beginning at 5:30 pm with heavy hors d'oeuvres cocktails, silent and live auction, fund-a-need and Vintage Kentucky Derby races.

Our goal for this event is to raise more than $100,000 for disadvantaged St. Louis area children.  Donations from the gala directly support these children with a safe place to stay after school, healthy meals and specialized training.  Combined these programs lead to healthy, more successful children and better life outcomes.

Sponsors of the Lighting the Way gala include Slay Industries, Ameren,  Knight Hawk Coal, American Commercial Barge Lines,  Emerson, Express Scripts and Archford Angels, ESM Marketing and Grizzell & Co. Our Child Nutrition Services Provider Virginia Miller was nominated to be featured at the NCA's Provider Showcase. The Provider Showcase is a short feature article on a child care home and what the provider is doing with the children focusing on nutrition.

United 4 Children welcomes Paul Eppen  to our board of directors. Paul is the Managing Partner at MSW Marketing. MSW Marketing was founded in 2006 by a group of industry veterans. From its origins as a boutique firm, the company has grown into a full-service agency providing customized client services in four agency verticals:
