Community Alert and Business Safety Meetings
Dear Neighbor,

The 19th District Police have issued the following alert:

On March 27, 2017, at approximately 7:35 a.m., a 13 year-old female was walking to  school in the 900 block of W. Wrightwood Ave., when a vehicle containing one male  subject stopped and called out to the female, attempting to engage her in conversation.  The female continued walking, when about a half block later, the vehicle pulled up  again and the subject called out to her a second time. The female continued walking,  ignoring the subject. She pulled out her phone and called for assistance and lost  sight of the vehicle.

About the Offender

Male White believed to be in his late teens or early twenties, with dark colored  "shaggy" looking hair. No clothing description was provided. Subject had no facial hair and was not wearing glasses

About the Vehicle

White or cream colored. Possibly newer model sedan.

Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce (LPCC) Safety Seminars

Want to know how to keep your business, employees and community safe? PWCA's Annual Cocktail Party

Chicago's citywide   Clean & Green Day of Service  is  Saturday, April 22nd . Join your neighbors and community organizations in beautifying the 43rd Ward.

Call 3-1-1 or visit the city's website to register your community group or locate a community group to join. Tools and cleaning supplies are provided by the City, and  groups must register their Clean and Green event by noon on   Wednesday, April 19th.

43rd Ward Academic Internship

Our office is currently accepting applications for interested college students to participate in our academic internship program for the spring and summer quarters of 2017. Our program offers participants the opportunity to assist our office and gain helpful experience in constituent service, community outreach, public policy, legislative research as well as zoning and urban development.
