April 15: Plant native plants on Piney Run Lake in Sykesville with Carroll County Forestry Board and Volunteer Maryland at 9 a.m. Tools, gloves, and refreshments will be provided. Email Nick Yoder at [email protected] to learn more.
April 22: Earth Day
Join
Volunteer Maryland for the Howard County Conservancy's annual day of service to celebrate Earth Day in Ellicott City. Help plant trees and remove non-native invasive plants.

Anne Arundel County Volunteer Center will host Save the Bay Day at Lake Waterford Park in Pasadena. Over 200 volunteers are needed for various tasks to beautify and clean up the park. Volunteers will receive a Comcast Cares Day t-shirt, as well as snacks, water, and a pizza lunch. Register to participate.
April 24:
Montgomery County Volunteer Center invites the community to celebrate some of the county's most outstanding community leaders and volunteers at the
Montgomery Serves Awards. The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Bethesda.

April 25: Join financial education practitioners, researchers, and stakeholders for the Financial Education Summit, hosted by the Maryland CASH Campaign in partnership with Volunteer Maryland. Learn how to support Maryland adults in gaining skills and confidence to meet their financial goals. The summit will take place in Columbia from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Register to attend.
April 26: Business Volunteers Maryland will hold its annual volunteer fair, doSOMETHING!,
in Baltimore to bring together professionals interested in giving back with local nonprofits. Participants must register to attend.
April 29: Participate in a neighborhood clean-up and spring cleaning of the St. Francis Neighborhood Center in Baltimore with Volunteer Marylandat 9 a.m. Learn more.
