Programs
Episcopal Church Club of Philadelphia Luncheon
. The Rev. Dr. Doris Rajagopal will be the featured speaker when the Episcopal Church Club of Philadelphia meets again at The Acorn Club, 1519 Locust Street, Philadelphia, on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Doris will talk about "The Darby Project." The Darby Mission is a collaborative effort between the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, Episcopal Community Services, the leadership of Darby Borough, the Free Library of Darby, and the William Penn School District. They work together to provide bi-monthly Darby Dinners, two afterschool programs, computer classes, a community garden, summer camp, Bible study, and various programs throughout the year. The program will start with social hour at 12 noon, followed by the luncheon at 12:30 and then the presentation. The price for the luncheon is $35 per person. at 3 p.m., the Widener University Chorale, under the direction of Pat Montenegro, will present their
Spring Concert
at
St. Paul's, Chester
. They will perform music from a wide variety of genres and periods, with selections by small groups and the larger ensemble. This concert is the first of several musical performances at St. Paul's this year; my hope is that you will spread the word among friends about the new artistic offerings at St. Paul's and enjoy the gifts of these talented young men and women. There is no charge for the concert, free will offering accepted. We hope to see you there!

Mindful Living on Tuesdays
from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Led by Deborah Cooper, this ongoing class consists of both silent and led meditation, a brief presentation and time for discussion. The class is built around "The Places that Scare You" by Pema Chodron. Participants will be encouraged to take some of the concepts and work with them during the week. Exciting local music is coming to
Incarnation Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church
. Starting in September, and running through the fall and winter months, IHS Drexel Hill will be hosting a Coffee House Open Mic and Concert Series. We'll bring in two local musicians to play longer sets and open the rest of the time up for members of the audience to share songs. is located in Mount Airy at 224 East Gowen Avenue. It is within walking distance of the Mount Airy Train station and the Route 23 bus stop. Grace Epiphany has A Large Light Filled Auditorium (Cline) with a Stage. It is connected to a restaurant size, fully equipped kitchen. Cline has a capacity of at least 125 people. Additionally, there is a large conference room and four smaller conference rooms. All of these rooms have been and are used for wedding receptions, meetings, showers, parties and other events. St. Francis-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church - The Parish Administrator
of St. Francis-in-the-Fields assists the Rector and Warden's in the day-to-day oversight of the parish and is expected to create and update printed and electronic media (e.g., bulletins, directories, webpage), maintain parish records and calendars, track pastoral care needs as directed, and coordinate the supply of goods and services, in addition to other assigned duties. Strong interpersonal skills; Familiarity with common desktop publishing programs. Associate's Degree or 3+ years applicable experience preferred. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively in the English language, both orally and in writing. This position is expected to average 25 hours per week. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday. Work schedule flexibility within posted office hours is negotiable. This position is eligible for pension considerations with the Church Pension Group of the Episcopal Church. It is not eligible for health care benefits.
