Dear Valued Provider,

National MedTrans Network appreciates the utilization and compliance you have demonstrated with the Provider Portal; specifically when it comes to the Marketplace.

This notice is being sent as reminder regarding the Marketplace within the Provider Portal. It is imperative that you only take trips from the Marketplace whose mode of transportation matches that to which you have been credentialed via National MedTrans Network. As an example: This means that if you have been contracted and credentialed by us as a livery only Provider, you are not to take ambulette trips from the Marketplace in the Provider Portal.

Additionally, National MedTrans Network wanted to provide a reminder regarding the New York State Medicaid Department of Health policy regarding wheelchair accessible minivans. A wheelchair member can only be transported in a full size ambulette vehicle that has been inspected and approved by the New York Department of Transportation. If it is discovered that National MedTrans Network has paid monies to a Provider that performed an ambulette trip to one its members in an un-authorized vehicle, those monies will be recouped and that Provider may be subject to suspension and/or termination.

National MedTrans Network appreciates your continued hard work and quality service, and we look forward to working together as we continue to transport our members to better health.

If you have any questions regarding this notice, please feel free to contact us at your convenience.

Kind Regards,

Your Provider Relations Team
