Classroom Corner
7th graders chose a country to research, and then created a presentation to share with the class. Presentations included a combination of murals, movies, Google slides, Prezi, commercials, and scrapbooks on the geography, climate, history, government, culture, and points of interest of that country. A class favorite has been trying the various foods.  Presentations were graded on content, research notes, works cited, creativity, communication, and speaking.

Our 4th graders have been hard at work writing stories. Their fingers were typing so fast as ideas were flooding their imaginations!
After all of that typing, they decided to relax with some Cosmic Kids Yoga.

3rd graders used microscopes to take a closer look at what soil is made up of and also explore the different types.

Filtration of rainwater through topsoil, subsoil and bedrock was also explored.

The Civic Oration; Modern Woodmen Classroom contests were held today. Speeches are 3 to 5 minutes long. the topic this year is heros. The students have worked very hard writing their speeches and practicing for this contest. We are very proud of all the students for their hard work. The top two place winners from each class will compete in the school competition on Thursday, April 27 at 12:30 p.m.
