GrassRoots Festival Offers Variety of Fun & Educational Workshops for All Ages
Music, Dance, and Movement workshops offered throughout this spring's festival

Pittsboro, NC - The Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance, which will take place in Pittsboro, North Carolina, May 4th through 7th, offers a wide variety of fun and educational workshops to all of the festival's attendees at no additional cost. Like most aspects of the festival, the diverse workshop assortment for this year offers something for everyone to enjoy.

A major goal of the festival is to promote education and appreciation of the arts and show how beneficial the arts can be in creating a happy and healthy community. The workshops are open to people of all backgrounds and all levels of expertise. Whether you are seeking first-time training in a new art or have been practicing the art for years, these workshops allow you to take a step back from the busyness of everyday life and experience something unique, active and exhilarating.

The festival offers workshops in dance, music and movement, all taught by experienced professionals in the respective fields. About Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance
The Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance will hold its 15th annual spring festival from Thursday, May 4 to Sunday, May 7. The festival will feature more than 40 bands and performers on two big outdoor stages, a large Dance Tent, and an intimate Cabaret Tent. Located on 72 beautiful farmland acres in Chatham County, North Carolina, just down the road from Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Durham, Burlington, and Greensboro. The festival also features local crafts, delicious food, various children's activities, healing arts practitioners, dancing and music workshops, environmental sustainability forums, and much more in a family-friendly setting.

Youth (13-15) 4-day passes - $59 advance / $64 at gate
