Meet our Family: Mona and Rondalyn
For Mona and her daughter,  home is much more than walls and a roof - it's peace of mind, happiness and the chance to bring family together.  As a future first time homeowner, Mona is looking forward to the opportunities a new home brings.  A new home will allow Mona's daughter, Rondalyn, to proudly host her first sleepover without worrying her friends will feel uncomfortable . Mona and her daughter enjoy chick flicks and sharing a laugh with those around. When picking out materials for her home, she excitedly chose a dark olive green for the siding and a plum red for the door.

Mona has completed over 276 of her sweat equity hours and shared, " I never knew how strong I was until I started. " She is known for sharing inspirational Bible verses the most notable being "I can do all things through God who strengthens me."

Message from George Druyos
Executive Director

We are reminded of  God's amazing glory as the April showers help new life bloom. We are excited to be  welcoming two of our partner families to their new homes this spring. Sherlle and Mona will be in their new homes by June 30th. What a tremendous blessing it has been to join them both in this journey.

I am humbled and honored to be a part of this beautiful mission. Because of YOU, we have been blessed with the opportunity to serve more families in Berkeley County. One of our greatest joys comes from the successful partnership within The Wall Street Community.  We have been welcomed into this community and continue together to achieve amazing works. This past month our collegiate challenege groups from George Mason and Purudue worked tirelessly to tear down the old bar (and eye sour) on Cooper Street! By working with Mrs. Yvonne Knight-Carter we achieved this at minimal cost but with tremendous results. We are grateful to the community for it's partnership and support of our mission.

I look forward to seeing everyone May 5th at our  5th Annual Golf Tournament. We will also be hosting our 1st Annual Framing the Future Gala in October. We are grateful to be able to host an event to celebrate the community's support of our mission and help fund our goal to serve more families in years to come. Thank you for your generous support! We couldn't do this without each and every one of you. Continue to follow us on Facebook for regular updates.

Blessings to All,

George
