As I sit here reviewing my 2016 with the LGRCC, I cannot help but wonder...
How many of our members did NOT take advantage of ALL the benefits afforded them with THEIR membership?
Please consider the following to ensure you are getting the BEST VALUE from your membership:
Did you return your free listing paperwork on time to be included in our 4 Season Travel Guide? Did you know that
70,000 copies are printed and distributed? I am certain that MORE THAN 1 person is looking at the guide when they get it so.... There is a potential that your business is being seen by MORE than 70,000! If you upgrade to the enhanced listing or larger ad, you can display a color logo or photo of your business and increase your visibility even more!
Did you take advantage of the
$100 for a full year of advertising on the Electronic Boards located at both Visitor's Centers which we staff??? in 2016, those two centers welcomed more than
73,000 visitors to our region. Did they "touch the screen" to learn about YOUR BUSINESS?
Lakegeorgechamber.com was "clicked on" more than
150,000 times this past year. Being listed on the site is included in your membership... Is all of your information accurate and current? Did you consider upgrading to an enhanced listing to have a color logo and the ability to offer a coupon to increase your traffic?
Did you know that your chamber exhibits at 10 LARGE Travel Shows each year?The combined total attendance at these shows in was more than
132,000 potential visitors. Are you sending your brochures with us via our Travel Show Co-Op program? Or, better yet, why not come with us to one of the shows and share YOUR LOVE of the region in our booth!!!
Are you involved with one of our committees to share your ideas and suggestions for improvement? We would LOVE to have YOUR expertise helping us to "do more".
Have you taken advantage of our networking opportunities attending Business After Hours Mixers held each month (excluding July & August), a "Chamber Night" out in the community, or by coming to educational seminars that are offered?
If you are a hotel/motel/B&B owner or manager, are you calling our office each week and letting Sandy know your availability ?
