Taratuta is a 17-year veteran of digital marketing in Latin America. As the founder of Internet Media Services, Inc. (IMS), he brings his expertise in media, marketing and digital platforms to create solutions for global clients seeking to grow their businesses throughout Latin America.

Standout Mentor 
Young Entrepreneur
Awarded $1,500
Philip Voluck, a founding mentor, is experiencing success supporting young entrepreneurs in the YEA! Business Plan Competition.

His current mentee was awarded $1,500 and received first place in South Florida. David Fleming, 14, presented Headache Reliever, a drug-free device used for relieving tension and migraine headaches. Fleming will now compete in the regional competition to be held in Rochester, New York.

Venture Company Highlights
Mind&Melody, Inc. Making Its Mark
Mind&Melody, Inc., a Venture Class 4 company, excels in its work to help people with dementia and other neurological impairments through the use of music. The non-profit has expanded to a team of nearly 200 people, serving over 100 participants at seven cities across the state. Last month, the team raised more than $3,000 through Brackets for Good and received a $9,000 grant from Miami-Dade County.

In addition, the Alzheimer's Association and its Southeast Florida Chapter sponsored the group to attend the Alzheimer's Forum on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. To learn more about the charity, listen to their interview on Channel Kindness Radio here.
FVF Selects Tech Runway Standout Start-up
Neuro Pharmalogics, a Venture Class 4 company, has been selected as a 2017 Early Stage presenter at the upcoming Florida Venture Forum conference.

The Florida Venture Forum is a statewide member-based organization that helps entrepreneurs obtain funding through education, strategic partnering and effective networking.

The biopharmaceutical company focuses on developing and commercializing innovative therapies for people with rare (or orphan) neurological diseases.
