Advent Options
Alternative Christmas Gifts

Looking for the perfect Christmas gift? Give the gift of food, stability, or shelter to someone in need. This Sunday is your last day to stop by the library lounge and purchase alternative Christmas gifts from Heifer International, Family Promise, or the mission guest house in Tanzania.
Bring a smile to friends and family with a gift that changes lives!
Handmade Christmas Cards

Handmade Christmas cards and many new unique cards are available at the card table in Fellowship Hall, so make sure to stop by on Sunday.  Our United Methodist Women's Craft Group works hard every other week to hand-craft individualized cards for all seasons, and proceeds go to support the mission and ministry of the UMW.  Also 2018/2019 pocket/purse calendars are available, so stop by while supplies last!
Potluck Breakfast and Worship
December 31st @ 9:30 AM

Join us for a single service of worship on Sunday, Dec. 31st (New Year's Eve morning). We'll gather for a potluck breakfast at 9:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall and move directly into worship at the round tables. Please see the sign up sheet in Fellowship Hall to indicate what dish you would like to bring. We hope to see you there!
Supporting the church through our commitments

Last week in worship, we presented our commitments for how we will support God's work through our church in 2018. If you have not turned in your commitment card, it's not too late. please mail your commitment card to the attention of Sheila Leavitt in the main office, or email it directly to her at  sleavitt@umcredbank.org
If you need one, you can pick one up in the main office, or you can download and print one here .
Worship Sneak Peek

Join us this Sunday (12/15) as we continue our Advent series, The Redemption of Scrooge, as the Ghost of Christmas Present challenges US to look around at the realities of our present day surroundings. Scrooge is asked to "look upon" the reality of his world and it cracks him open a bit as he sees the blessings surrounding him, even in the midst of poverty and struggle, and as his eyes are opened, his compassion grows. I wonder what we will see as we "look upon" our communities and how God is calling us to live out the Christmas spirit of love, hope, peace, and joy amid our neighbors.
