Does Dry Cleaning Kill Bed Bugs ?
Yes! Dry Cleaning will effectively kill bed bugs.
Hot water washing also is an effective method for killing bed bugs as long as the water temperature reaches a minimum of 120 degrees F constantly for 20 minutes.
Extreme heat or cold temperatures have proven to be an effective method of killing bed bugs without using chemicals. For small items that can't be safely washed or dry cleaned you might be able to put them in a clothes dryer on medium high or high heat for 20 minutes. In the winter you may have success putting infested items such as mattresses outside for several hours if the temperature is below 25 degrees F.
