The Islamic Shura Council of Southern California sends condolences to the families of victims of suicidal bombings at two Coptic Churches in Egypt and condemns this heinous crime.
The Islamic Shura Council of Southern California learnt with sadness, this Sunday, April 9, the news of the suicidal bomb attacks at two Coptic Churches in Egypt and the death and injury of many innocent people. We express our condolences for the victims' families. We condemn this violence against a religious minority and especially in their places of worship. All religious minorities and places of worship of all religions should be respected and protected.
We hope the authorities will soon find those who were responsible for this crime and bring them to justice. We urge and pray for the peaceful coexistence of all people of diverse faiths and cultures in the world.
