Frances Fiscus Kramer 1926 - 2017

Frances "Franny" Jean Kramer
passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, of natural causes.    She was born March 9, 1926 in Wadsworth, Ohio, daughter of the late Homer and Helen Buffington Fiscus.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur W. Kramer in 2016;  two sons; Tom and Tim Kramer;  and two sisters, Evelyn Kindig and Eleanor Dangel.

Franny graduated from Wadsworth High School, Class of 1944.  She lived through the Great Depression and WWII.    In Wadsworth, she owned a beauty shop, although she loved music and show business and dreamed of being a Rockette in NY.

In 1947, Franny said "I do" to Arthur W. Kramer, her high school sweetheart, and loving husband of 68 years.    Franny and Art raised four sons, Jim, Tom, Tim and Mark, through the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's.    Certainly there is a special place in heaven for her.

She is survived by her two sons; Jim Kramer of Indiana, PA and Mark Kramer (Judi) of Charlotte, NC.    She was the proud grandmother of Eric Kramer of Raleigh, NC, Meredith Kramer of Dallas, TX, and Victoria Kramer of Charlotte, NC.  She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Karen Kramer of Charlotte, NC.

Franny's dazzling smile brightened every room.    Kind, selfless, and generous, she made friends with everyone she met.    She accepted people as they were and made each person in her life feel special and loved.    Franny celebrated every moment.    She loved to entertain and was known for her margaritas.    She is now with Art in heaven, truly an eternal happy hour.
