Join Calgary JCC and PJ Library® for an afternoon of free Chanukah fun! Bring the entire family to the JCC on Sunday, December 9 from 2-4pm and celebrate in style at our annual Chanukah Family Dance Party. A hearty mazel tov to Chabad Lubavitch of Alberta on the 30th anniversary of their celebrated Chanukah Community Menorah Lighting at City Hall on December 3. This inspiring event has become one of the highlights of Chanukah in Jewish Calgary and does credit to our community and our city. Congratulations to all!
A special week just wrapped up for
The Calgary Jewish Academygrade nine students and their pen pals from
Har Vagai School. The group enjoyed spending time in Banff, touring Calgary, and learning about our community. Through the
P2G program, the Calgary students will get a chance to spend a week in their pen pals' homes when they go to Israel in March. This once-in-a-lifetime experience is supported by
Calgary Jewish Federation through the generosity of
UJA donors.
