The Humane Society of Greater Dayton's Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program has been hard at work in 2017. So far, this year the program has spayed/neutered more than 200 community cats. This is helping us address the cat overpopulation problem plaguing our community.
With an estimated 50,000 stray, community cats in Montgomery County alone, the need for these services is crucial.
If you would like to volunteer your time and make an impact on our stray cat population, contact Chris Banks at (937) 262-5933 or e-mail her at cbanks@hsdayton.org.
TNR is an effective and humane way to battle cat overpopulation in our community. For more information on TNR or the services we provide, click here.
