April 2017
From sewing, building, making crafts, baking, exercise and general activities we are fortunate to have so many amazing volunteers who work to ensure that our residents have the best quality of life possible.  This month we are especially excited to celebrate these selfless people during Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 23-29.

  • We would appreciate your help in making sure that all important documents and bills are being sent to the responsible party, and not Madison Heights.
We all work together to keep Madison Heights clean.
  • When you visit it would be appreciated it you would dispose of cigarette butts somewhere other than on the property grounds.

Road Construction Update
Currently, the intersection of Washington Road and Knob Hill Farm Road is closed for road work.   We wanted you to be aware that we are staying updated on the progress of the road work.  To access Madison Heights you will need to turn onto William Few Parkway then turn left on Knob Hill Farm Road and follow the road to Madison Heights (see image below).

We look forward to the completion of this project and are excited that traffic will flow more freely after its completion.

Associate of the Month

Congratulations to Brianna, our Associate of the Month!

Brianna was chosen as Associate of the Month because she is caring with a compassionate warm spirit.  She is both willing and eager to learn.  Brianna is a team player with a positive attitude and is genuinely concerned about the well-being of our residents.

Brianna says that her favorite part of her job is, "Listening to our residents talk about their lives, their families, their childhoods and things that they enjoy.  Their faces light up when they reminisce on their past and they can really give you some great life advice when you take the time to sit and listen.  They have great stories to tell and it's a lot of fun to hear their backgrounds - plus it helps us get to know them better."
Spotlight Volunteers

This month's Spotlight Volunteers are Nancy and Patsy who vigorously worked for weeks to make 26 fidget therapy blankets for our residents.
(These amazing blankets are shown in use at the header of this email.)

Thank you for entrusting Madison Heights with your loved one as we help you write life's next chapter.
