   There were many events going on in the Charleston area this month. We at Bailey & Wyant, find it very important to be involved in our community. 
    This month, Bailey & Wyant attorneys were a sponsor of West Virginia Association of Counties 2017 Conference of Counties. In addition to being a sponsor, David Schumacher, Bailey & Wyant partner led one of the sessions about dealing with bullying behavior in the workplace.
    Bailey & Wyant attorneys and staff were also proud to attend the 13th Annual Children's Therapy Clinic Oscar Gala as well as the 2017 Women of Achievement Luncheon honoring Alissa Novoselick, Mildred Lisa Lewis, Dr. Cynthia Armstrong Persily, The Honorable Joanna I. Tabit and Elizabeth Pellegrin. 

The 2017 CCAWV Legislative Conference was at the beginning of March. We enjoyed seeing everyone at this year's conference.

The Bailey & Wyant table at the 13th annual "A Night with the Stars" Oscar Gala. All proceeds from the gala went to benefit the Children's Therapy Clinic.

Kristen V. Hammond is an Associate in Bailey & Wyant, PLLC's Charleston office.
Kristen was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 2004, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. She obtained her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law and her Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) degree from Marshall University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
Kristen concentrates her practice on civil litigation, insurance defense, labor and employment, product liability, personal injury, government liability, legal and other professional liability, bankruptcy and creditor's rights, probate and estate, and mental hygiene matters. She is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and the West Virginia Bar Association.
