St. Paul's Church

March 31, 2017

Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them.  Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:13-14)

Dear St. Paul's,

Repeat after me, "Kids, children, and youth... Kids, children, youth..." Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them."  In order for us to attract children and young families to St. Paul's, we need to have the same love for kids that Jesus has.
Flamevine 3/30/17
When the new Flamevine church opens in September, one of the things we will see is a generous flow of kids coming to the new church.  Now is the time to get ready for them.  The countdown has begun.  We have six months to pray and take clear action to prepare.

The Lord has blessed us even now with perhaps 4-5 young families with school age children, but sadly some of them do not come to church because we have no
Baptism of Pia Schwiering
program for them.  We are in the process of gathering and equipping a team of people to provide Bible lessons and games for the kids each week during worship.   We need you on the team!

The Flamevine church will have two large, beautiful Sunday School classrooms and a nursery.  One of the classrooms can be divided into two.  We'll have the space to accommodate about 40-50 children.  Can you see the children coming to Jesus?  The only thing missing now is adult volunteers  who
"Skimmers" youth group
love Jesus, and who love kids.  We need you!

Help us bring kids to Jesus!

Gratefully in Christ,

Pr. Jon
