We are excited to welcome Dr. Samuel Giere of Wartburg Theological Seminary as this year's PreAssembly Workshop Leader.  Dr. Giere will also serve as the Bible study Leader for the two days of Synod Assembly to follow.  This workshop is open to the public and you need not be attending Synod Assembly to attend the PreAssembly Workshop

This year the Lutheran church commemorates 500 years of ministry since Martin Luther first sparked the Protestant Reformation. The heart of the Reformation was the reclamation of faith alone – sola fide – as the heart of salvation.  Drawing upon scripture and the Protestant Reformation teachings, Dr. Giere’s presentations will explore the place of faith, moving to recover faith as the central orienting reality for the Christian toward God, Scripture, the Church, the neighbor, and the enemy.

Registration Fee for the PreAssembly Workshop is $15 and includes lunch. Preregistration is requested to ensure an accurate meal count.

Onsite Registration will open at 10:00 am the day of the event.  The workshop will begin promptly at 10:30 am and conclude by 3:00 pm.
