Dear Franklin-McKinley Parents and Guardians,
This winter season, our students, staff, and community partners continue to show their dedication in serving those in need. They’ve donated care packages to homeless youth, hosted toy drives for families in need, and given their time to numerous charitable causes and organizations.
As the Superintendent of Schools, I am humbled by the generosity and benevolent efforts that are visible throughout Franklin-McKinley School District (FMSD). We offer our community many gifts and talents not only during the holiday season, but throughout the course of the year. From teachers in the classroom, bus drivers making sure children get to school on time, to parents creating a home environment that fosters learning, our collective efforts to raise our youth are filled with dedication and passion for a brighter future.
As the 2017 year is coming to a close, I want to thank all Franklin-McKinley parents and guardians for entrusting us with your most precious gift, your children. On behalf of the Franklin-McKinley School District family to yours, we wish you a happy winter break.
