High-pressure Processor Ribbon Cutting
With the installation of a new, commercial-scale high-pressure food processing unit, Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences has become the nation's first commercial scale validation facility for a technology that kills foodborne pathogens and extends shelf-life - without heat or chemical preservatives - for fresh, ready-to-eat foods like juice, baby foods, meats and salads.  Read full article here.

Grand Challenges in Dairy
On January 12, 2017 several dairy sector members of CIFS-IPP gathered in Stocking Hall to discuss the most challenging opportunities facing their companies. In a productive discussion facilitated by CIFS-IPP and with faculty participation, the group identified several areas of shared interest for additional exploration. The group will reconvene in the coming weeks to further focus its action steps for working together to tackle these challenging issues with the support of CIFS-IPP.
