Dear Friends & Neighbors:

Join us for our Civic Minded meeting today at 12PM,  March 25, 2017 at  400 Empire Boulevard ,  Brooklyn, New York 11225. At this meeting many  community leaders, merchant organizations, block associations, clergy leaders, civic organizations, and concerned neighbors will be coming together to  collectively address community issues. 
 
This meeting will highlight updates on the impact of 421 A and what it is. This meeting will also include where the government is at with negotiations surrounding 421 A and the affect it has had on luxury development. In addition, we will also touch on action taken to fight for 100% affordable housing with the Bedford Union Armory.

Assemblymember Diana C. Richardson (D, WFP - 43rd AD), represents the 43rd Assembly District, which covers Crown Heights, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Wingate and East Flatbush. She currently serves on the Committee on Banking, the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions;  the Committee of Children and Families; the Committee on Mental Health and the Committee on Small Business.  Assembly woman Richardson also serves as the Chairwoman of the Sub Committee on Foster Care. She was first elected to office in 2015.
