ENROLLMENT POSTCARD DEADLINE FRIDAY!
Tomorrow, March 31, is the deadline to submit enrollment postcards and have the $200 family registration fee applied to your 2017-2018 tuition. After March 31, the registration fee will not be applied. Don't forget about the New Family Grant program! If you refer a family who enrolls and attends SCCS in kindergarten through grade 12, you can receive a $500 tuition grant. SCHOOL VEST AND PULLOVER ORDER
The school approved 1/4 zip pullovers and vests are available for purchase online, using the link below. Also available are the Under Armour 1/4 zip pullovers in gray and white or blue and white stripe.  This very popular Panther spirit wear item is only available in adult sizes.  Please note that the Under Armour pullover is NOT uniform dress code approved, however may be worn on spirit days. APRIL 1 PARENTS NIGHT OUT
On Saturday, April 1, during the SCCS "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" Auction, the SMCC Cheerleaders are hosting a Parents Night Out, from 5:00pm-10:00pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. There is a $20 donation per family, and all children ages 3-12 are welcome. Students will partake in various activities throughout the evening, such as games, crafts, stories, dancing, and there will be a special visit from Cleveland Indians mascot Slider!

At 8:00pm we will quiet down with a group prayer and watch a movie on the big screen. Feel free to bring a water bottle with your child's name on it and a sleeping bag/pillow/blanket for the movie.  Please have children picked up promptly at 10:00pm. Click here for a registration form.

PANTHER SOFTBALL SKILLS CAMP
On Saturday, April 8, all girls in grades 3-8 are invited to join Panther softball coach Kurt Fitzthum and varsity players for a Panther Softball Skills Camp. Girls will learn the basic fundamentals of softball including hitting, pitching, and fielding. The camp will be held at the Panther's home softball field at Dorn Park and is free of charge. If it is raining, the camp will be moved to the Multi-Purpose Room at SCCS. Come out and enjoy a Saturday morning with the Lady Panther Softball Team!

Date: Saturday, April 8 th
Time: 10:00am-12:00pm
Grades: 3rd-8th Grade
Clothing: Rubber cleats or tennis shoes, softball glove, water bottle, sweatpants or softball pants, and appropriate clothing for the weather.
Location: Dorn Park (699 Bardshar Road, Sandusky)

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED
Have you ever considered becoming a substitute teacher? Did you know you only need a Bachelor's Degree in order to obtain your license? If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher at SCCS, please email Lois Walsh at [email protected] for more information.

SPRING BUS DRIVERS NEEDED

GOOD SHEPHERD TEACHER TRAINING THIS SUMMER
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a faith formation experience for children 3-12 years old. It is based upon the belief that young children can and do experience God. This summer, there will be a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 Formation Course offered at Holy Angels, for those interested in teaching. TLC NEEDS YOUR POP TABS                    
The TLC class is collecting pop can tabs to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. The collection will run now through April 9. You can drop pop tabs off in the container outside of the PPC.

JEANS AND MUSIC T-SHIRT DAY
Tomorrow, March 31, all students in grades K-5 may wear jeans and a music t-shirt to end the Celebration of Music in our Schools month.


KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION AND SCREENING
Any families that will be enrolling a student in SCCS kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year are encouraged to submit their enrollment forms as soon as possible. In order to be screened, your child must be officially enrolled in kindergarten for next year. This includes all forms and the $200 registration fee.  Screening dates are April 27 and 28. EDCHOICE SCHOLARSHIP RENEWALS
Any family who is currently receiving the EdChoice Scholarship should have received the renewal paperwork in the mail. If you have not received your renewal forms, or have questions about applying for the income- based scholarship, please contact Mrs. Snow at [email protected] or 419-626-1892, ext. 311. The first application deadline is April 30, 2017.

SMCC JUNIOR/SENIOR PROM, "MASQUERADE," APRIL 8
Tickets are now on sale for the 2017 Junior/Senior Prom, "Masquerade, " being held at Catawba Island Club on Saturday, April 8, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Dinner is at 7:00pm, and the dance begins at 8:00pm. There are two ticket prices; Dinner/Dance for $40 per person or Dance only for $30 per person. The Dinner Buffet ticket includes Baked Chicken, Penne Pasta & Meatballs with Marinara Sauce, Shrimp Penne Alfredo, Chef Carved Top Sirloin, Parslied Reds, Fresh Vegetables, and Cornbread Stuffing. All dinner tickets need to be purchased by tomorrow, March 31st. Tickets are available for purchase at lunch or in Miss Howman's office.
