ART EXPERIENCE
Printmaking Workshop                             Grades 4-12

Printmaking Workshop

GOC Campus

In this printmaking workshop, we will create a series of colorful "gel" (or gelatin) prints with a wide variety of objects. We will use everything from leaves to bubble wrap to construct our prints! 4-H PROGRAM WACKY SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS
Slime Time
Grades 4-12

What:
It's SLIME TIME. Come and understand what a Polymer is and how chemical reactions can change the state of certain ingredients.
When:
Wednesday, April 19 from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Where:
GOC Campus
Cost:
$5 Click HERE to register & pay on MyPaymentsPlus.
Deadline:
Saturday, April 15 at midnight
The Facts:
This is the fifth and final part of a five-part series; students will learn how POLYMER is unique because it has qualities of both a solid and a liquid. It can take the shape of its containers like a liquid does, yet you can hold it in your hand and pick it up like a solid. As you might know, solid molecules are tight together, liquid molecules spread out and break apart (drops) POLYMER molecules CHAIN themselves together (they can stretch and bend like chains) and that makes them special.
Click  HERE to access the 4-H Program permission slip.
Please email Ms. Kathrine Call  with any questions.
