Dr. Julia Johnson

We are so thankful that Dr. Julia Johnson has accepted the position of Chief Medical Officer for Hospice Savannah. Julia works with our patients' personal physician to make sure they receive the highest quality pain and symptom management, whether at home, in the nursing home or other facility, or in Hospice House .

Julia graduated from Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia and later received a Master of Public Health from Tulane University.  She attended Brown University of Medicine in Providence, RI, and her primary board certification is in Family Medicine.  A board certified Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician, she is on the teaching faculty of both Mercer and the Medical College of Georgia medical schools.
Art reception this Thursday and next Friday!
Please  stop by our Gallery at 1352 Eisenhower Drive  to meet Fran and Donna  at their opening reception this Thursday evening between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. More details here .

We are indebted to curator Peter Roberts for organizing a group show benefiting Hospice Savannah at the Location Gallery @ Austin Hill Realty. The opening reception of "Draw Me" is Friday, April 14. Work  is inspired by the iconic "Draw Me" matchbooks and advertisements in the back of periodicals for Art Instruction Schools. Whether is was "Tippy the Turtle", "The Cowboy", "The Lady", "The Pirate", "Lucky the Duck", "Winky the Deer" or many, many more, Peter felt the imagery deserved a fresh take, an upgrade, a modern point of view from our local artists. Please join us!
