NEIGHBORHOOD BIKE RIDE
An 8 mile circuit starting at Grant High School, heading east past the south side of the Rose City Golf Course, then along the Alameda Ridge and down into the Hollywood district for a refreshment stop at Velo Cult Bike Shop, before concluding back at the high school. Riders should have working bicycles, helmets, and an understanding of the rules of the road.
This is not a difficult route, but it is not a ride for beginners. Children and grandchildren may join provided they are supervised by an adult and capable of riding 8 miles at a leisurely pace. Ride may include three "re-grouping" stops if needed.
