April News & Updates
Revival Services begin on Sunday

We are seeking God to move powerfully in our revival. We are seeking God to work in a way where He is greatly glorified during these special services.Throughout our nation's history, we've seen many individuals draw close to God through special revival services. We pray that God would do it again in our hearts and in the hearts of our community. Will you try to come to as many of our worship services as your schedule allows? Will you invite those who are unchurched and do not have a relationship with God to come with you? Will you pray? I think you are really going to love Matt Queen and Jeff Willis.

Easter Musical

Our Easter Celebration

We look forward to celebrating the resurrection of Christ with you on Easter Sunday, April 16. On this Sunday, we will have two morning services 8 am or 10:40 am and Sunday School at 9:30 am. During our morning celebration service, we will be observing the Lord's Supper. If you are able, please park in one of our two gravel lots and allow our guests and seniors to park closer to the building. To allow you time to celebrate with your family all that Christ has done for you, we will not be having evening services on Easter.
Mission Opportunities

There are many different ways and opportunities for you to take the gospel outside of Franklin County. We have a mission team helping Josh Crisp, one of our church planters, with an evangelistic outreach and childcare for Easter.
We have a mission team of 11 that will be leaving on May 27 to share the gospel in Uganda. You can pray for our team and you can give to help cover some of the expenses for a team member. Your Uganda Mission Team is Kady Lampley, Derek Flatt, Davee Followell, Barry and Brenda Sink, Brenda Choisser, Terra Clements, Ray Cooke, Pastor Ryan Mulvaney, Pastor Sammy and Michelle Simmons.
We are in the beginning stages of planning our next Uganda Mission Trip from January 13-25, 2018. If you are interested in being a part of this team, please see Pastor Michael.
We have a mission team that will be running a sports camp for Pastor David in Collinsville. The trip will be from July 17-20. If you are interested in this trip, please see Pastor Michael.

Help Launch a New Church

There is still plenty of space available for our mission trip to Gospel Grove! We will have the opportunity to help our friend and church planter Josh Crisp with a community Easter Egg hunt. We will also help spread the word about the launch of Gospel Grove Church on Easter Sunday, and assist them with their Children's Church service they will have that Easter morning!

The trip is Friday, April 14-16th. We will be staying at the Baymont Inn and Suite's in Franklin, Indiana. The cost for the trip is $60.00 to $120.00 depending upon how many are in a hotel room. Each room has 2 Queen Beds. Breakfast is provided at the hotel. Dinner will be provided Friday night and lunch Saturday, we will also have a meal provided with Gospel Grove Church on Sunday afternoon. You will be responsible for paying for your meal on the way down and for dinner Saturday night at the mall. We would love for you to be a part of this historic moment in Gospel Grove Church history!

Uganda 2018 Informational Meeting

On A pril 30th at 5pm we will be having an informational meeting regarding our January 2018 Uganda trip. In January we will be sending our tenth mission team to Uganda. Pastor Michael will be leading this team which will be partnering with International Missionaries for Christ (IMFC) in order to share the Gospel with the poor and displaced, give out food in the slums to the poorest of the poor, plant house churches, and lay the groundwork for a 12 book discipleship follow-up plan. So whether you are curious about what we are doing in Uganda or know that God is leading you to join this team, please come to the meeting. This missions trip is scheduled for January 13th - January 25th, 2018, and cost approximately $3000.

Quarterly Business Meeting

Sunday, April 9 at 5:30PM
Odds and Ends Sale

As the building process comes to a conclusion, we have leftover building supplies, furniture that is no longer needed, cabinets that have been replaced, light fixtures that have been changed out and other items that are no longer needed at our church.
We would love for them to find a new home in your house. We are going to do a silent auction for these items with the proceeds going toward our building fund. Starting on April 23 you will be able to make a offer for any item that you would like to have until 5:30 pm April 30. Whoever is the highest bidder on April 30 at 5:30, buys the item.
Children's Check-in

Child safety is something we value here at Immanuel. That is why we will begin a check-in system for the Kidz Zone Sunday School on Sunday, April 23rd. Parents, please come with your child to the Kidz Zone entrance, which is near the sanctuary lobby, to check your child in. At the foot of the jungle-print staircase there will be a Kidz Zone attendant waiting to check them in. Your child will receive a name tag, and you will receive a pick-up tag. At the conclusion of Sunday School, please make your way to your child's classroom and present your pick-up tag to the teacher. Thank you so much for your flexibility as we make this transition to provide a safer environment for our children!

New Camp 2017~June 17th-23rd

Summer is near so that means the excitement is building for New Camp 2017! If you have a child who has completed 6th grade thru completing 12th grade, we would love for them to join us. Registration forms can be found in the youth room, or the front office. You can turn in the completed form and a $40.00 deposit to Pastor Eric or the front office. We will determine the final cost of camp when we complete our Pie Auction.

Sunday School Fellowship

On May 7th there will be no Sunday night service. Instead we are encouraging all of our Sunday School classes to spend this time having a fellowship together. Ideas could range from a cookout at a members class, ice-cream at DQ, bowling together, dinner at a restaurant, or another fun outing. The goal is to spend quality time together as a Sunday School class. Please begin discussing with your class how your Sunday school will fellowship together.
Building Update

Thank you for your prayers, giving, and patience with our building program. When our church voted to proceed with building, we agreed to a three phrase process: Phrase 1 was to update the sanctuary sound and projects, stage 2 was to build the Family Ministries Building (add preschool and youth wings), stage 3 was to retrofit the old preschool wing into over 50 Sunday School classes, retrofit the old youth wing into adult classrooms space, and expand the sanctuary foyer.
The building team was commissioned with examining two other options if financing was available: adding a new gym floor and adding a elevator. Your building team has done an excellent job in leading us to complete phase 1, phase 2, and phase 3. (Actually the total building project should be completed by April 15). The building team was able to also update the gym floor but determined it was not feasible to add a elevator. They were also able to update sanctuary carpet (which we badly needed due to the carpet coming up in multiple places). The building team was able to come under budget with the whole project.
Over $1.4 Million dollars has already been given to make this project possible. We will owe close to $1.3 Million and need your continual support by praying and giving to help get that debt down as quickly as possible. We build to provide balanced space to continue to reach the 26,000 who don't know Jesus. Thank you so much for your patience and help in this project.
