PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT - LANGUAGE ARTS
Each week, we will be highlighting one of our programs or offering resources for parents to illustrate The Radcliffe Way!

It's Spring, and in Language Arts students have been immersed in active learning experiences. Below, William is learning about the different kinds of conjunctions in Ms. Aburn's class while Mrs. Bushby's students have taken advantage of some of the warmer days to get outside to write. Many of them have enjoyed making Blackout Poetry:

Sarah, next to her Blackout poem, while Mrs. Holmes'  class is painting ladybugs after reading The Grouchy Ladybug by Eric Carle. When the ladybugs are finished they will write about something that makes them grouchy:

In Mrs. Serio's class, students play " I Have, Who Has," a homophone card game, while another class has made a Venn diagram to find similarities and differences between the city and the country, while reading Charlotte's Web Ms. Rybas' class is excited to be studying the Mr. Putter and Tabby series:

TAYLOR FAMILY THANK YOU!
Dear Radcliffe Creek Community,

We want to send our most warmest, and sincerest thank you to the Radcliffe Creek community. Words cannot begin to express our gratitude for all of the prayers, thoughts; donations offered to our family during such a difficult time. Please know that each of you made a big difference in our lives as we move forward to transitioning into temporary housing as a family. We are truly blessed to be a part of this caring community. We are still overwhelmed by the support we have received. We certainly have a long road ahead, but it is so comforting to know that we are not alone.  We will forever be eternally grateful for everything the community has done for us. What makes a house a home are the people inside, and in the next few months when we return to our home we will not only have our family, but also the spirit of all of you who have helped us through this challenging time. We will never forget the incredible support you have all given us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Thanks,
The Taylor Family

AROUND THE CREEK

Peter and Noland read their different sounds written on bubble wrap and then get to pop the bubble!

Little Creek's Four's Class read books by Laura Numeroff this week, and after reading If You Give a Moose a Muffin, they made alphabet muffins, matching uppercase letters with their lowercase letters.

Little Creek's Two's Class took their first trip on the nature trail looking for something green for their week of St. Patrick's fun!

Mrs. Fish's Mindfulness classes made two kinds of sensory jars this week: one type used water, liquid dish soap, and food coloring; the other type used water, hair gel, and glitter. They both have a calming, mesmerizing effect and the children had fun watching the bubbles form and the glitter swirl and settle.

Little Creek's Infants play in the best toy out there - a box!

Anthony works on balance and visual motor coordination during OT, bending down to pick up a bean bag and throwing it on the matching target.
