Assalamu Alaikum
Dear Family & Friends of ICSC,
After a few weeks of fun new programs at the Islamic Center, this weekend, we are slowing down to engage both our minds and our hearts. Mental and emotional health lie at the center of our everyday lives and is closely tied with our overall health, happiness and success as individuals.
Tomorrow, Saturday, Mar. 26, join us for a full-day of learning (8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) in our
FREE Mental Health First Aid Workshop. In this workshop, participants should expect to learn the basics of mental heath - including how to identify warning signs, assess situations, and intervention methods. Seats are limited and registration is required.
RSVP now to reserve your spot!"
"Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest."
(Qur'an 13:28)
In the evening, at 7 p.m., we will reconvene for a night of spiritual reflection and prayer at our first
Spiritual Night of the year. Omar Ricci will address those in attendance on a timely topic, "Hope and Resilience in Challenging Times." Don't miss this opportunity to quiet your mind, reconnect, and embrace the brotherhood and sisterhood of our community.
In peace,
