Happy Spring! We wanted to let you know about two upcoming opportunities to meet with the Needham School Committee to learn more about what is happening at Needham Public Schools.
- This Saturday the Needham School Committee is holding an Open House in the Da Vinci Lab at Needham High School. The Open House will feature a technology showcase in the Da Vinci Workshop, a lab space for hands-on learning and technological creativity which embodies STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) interdisciplinary learning and serves as a space for students and teachers to innovate, collaborate, create and problem-solve.This event is Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- The Needham School Committee invites the community to attend a Public Hearing about the Needham High School Classroom Expansion Feasibility Study on Monday, March 27th at 6:30 p.m. in the Needham Public Library Community Room. The designers will provide a brief update about the feasibility and share options to expand classroom space at Needham High School. Following the brief presentation, community members may ask questions or make comments. Immediately after this public hearing, the School Committee and Permanent Public Building Committee (PPBC) will hold a joint meeting to deliberate and vote on a preferred option. The next step will be to request design funds at the Needham Town Meeting in May. The School Committee invites your participation in this important Public Hearing on Monday, March 27th at 6:30 p.m. at the Needham Library.
