The Nominating Committee is hard at work filling PTA Board positions for next year! We are super excited to welcome all of the new volunteers who have contacted us and stepped into positions for next year. We have some committee positions we still need to fill, so please Click here to view the list of open positions and request information on what each job does. Executive board positions for the 2017-18 school year will be voted in at our next General PTA Meeting, which is held before the Kindergarten Dinner & Performance on April 20th. PTA Friend of Children Awards!
We are so excited to announce the recipients of this year's PTA Friend of Children Award for Dove Elementary. The PTA Friend of Children award is to acknowledge people who have done an outstanding job supporting our School and our PTA. This year we are honoring 5 very special recipients. They are: 

California Pizza Kitchen - Grapevine
Chilis - Flower Mound
Wise Guys Pizzeria 

These three local restaurants have gone above and beyond by supporting our PTA and our school with generous donations of food to various events through out the year. We are beyond thankful for their generosity and support!

We are also presenting Friend of Children awards to our two Crossing Guards:

Paula & Terry Wilson

Mr. & Mrs. Wilson are a friendly face to all of us every morning and afternoon and we want to thank them for their superb service to our students and our school. Thank you for keeping us safe and for being a friendly face every morning and after school. We appreciate you both! 

The Friend of Children Awards will be given to our recipients during the PTA General Meeting right before the Kindergarten Performance on April 20th.

The Spring Sock Hop Carnival was a HUGE success! Thank you to the coordinators, volunteers, and staff who helped make the Sock Hop such a fun and successful event! 
Box Tops  

Box Tops for Education labels are due by April 28th! Please turn them in to your classroom teacher. Also ask friends, family, and neighbors to help collect Box Tops for Education for our school. Remember the class that has the most Box Tops turned in by April 28th will earn a Reading Campout! 

Box Tops may also be turned in to the jar in the office by May 19, 2017. If the jar is full by then, the whole school will earn a pajama day! 

Please click the button below to see different "needs" around our school. If you choose to help, please make sure to sign up to mark that item off of the needed list. Once signed up, please send your item(s) to school with your child, attaching the name of the staff member for who it is intended.

Teachers and Staff 
will provide updates to this list monthly as new needs arise. If you are able, please review the list and provide any items that are requested in your children's various classrooms.
