Tête-à-tête - 5:
Punaam Jain

"Meeting deadlines and time management is a big challenge especially
during the enrollment season, there is non-stop travel during this period, attending
events and meeting agents. I start the day early to prepare for the tasks for the day.
I try to be as organized as possible which helps me respond on time and meet
commitments I have made.

Mendonça Filho, Brazilian Congressman said, Brazil spends heavily on higher education, but lacks spending in the K-12 space. Though the previous Governments have strived towards providing adequate funding in the K-12 space, the efforts have not been fruitful. The higher education institutions are dominated by students from private schools. This is where the higher education institutions are benefiting from social quotas. Research has proved that students entering the HE system through the quota systems set for social inclusion are performing as well and sometimes better than their peers.

While Saudi Arabia strengthens its Higher Education ties, experts believe that
UAE schools will have a tough time going ahead.
A whopping 175,000 school positions are expected to be open by 2020, and a 90 per cent of them are expected to be in the private sector. Recruiting for these positions will be a herculean task for UAE. TES, world's largest professional network for teachers, previously known as the Times Education Supplement, has come to the rescue to address this problem for UAE.
