United Way partners with the City of Rock Hill and Weed & Seed Urban Rock Hill to host Project Connect at the Emmett Scott Center. This day of service provides homeless and low-income families with much needed supplies and information. Last year, we had roughly 700 attendees, 554 grocery bags were distributed, nearly 200 blood pressure screenings were conducted, and much more!
This year, the event will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at the Emmett Scott Center. If you would like to volunteer to help us make this event possible, please contact Krista at [email protected] and fill out a volunteer form.

United Way of York County, SC partners with local post offices and coordinates with food banks that are in need of re-stocking their shelves at a critical time of year.
Mark your calendars for
Saturday, May 13th to leave a bag of non-perishable food items by your mailbox to be picked up by your letter carrier. Food will be distributed to local food banks in York County.
