Small Business Week Awards Ceremony

At this exciting luncheon event at Gateway Community College, the Connecticut Small Business Administration and Connecticut SCORE will hold a special recognition ceremony to honor the state’s Small Business Person of the Year and nine other small business award winners. These entrepreneurial awardees were nominated by organizations throughout the state.

Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s small business owners.

As part of National Small Business Week, the U.S. Small Business Administration takes the opportunity to highlight the impact of outstanding small business owners and small business champions throughout the country.
