Spotlight on volunteers from UMass Lowell
Go to their Facebook page to see video from UMass Lowell showcasing their students participating in Alternative Spring Break helping the community. We were fortunate to have 3 of their students volunteer with us one day and we appreciated the help. Take a look at the video and see what they did with their week off from school. UMass Lowell = Good Neighbors!
News from the warehouse - Jill said housing money has hit and whole apartment wishes are pouring in. We are thrilled for our clients getting their own apartments.
What that means for us is we need many more dressers, kitchen tables, twin mattress sets, adjustable metal bed frames and lamps to accommodate all the families that will be needing our help. If you have any of these very basic items that every family needs we would really appreciate any and all donations. We can only give out what we have and we depend on our generous donors and supporters to keep our warehouse stocked with items that our struggling clients need! Thank you for your continued support.

Thanks to the Congregational Church of Pelham NH for inviting our Executive Director, David Fitzgerald, to speak this week at their Sunday service and giving him the opportunity to spread the news of our mission.
Pictured here with four of our monthly Monday night volunteers from their Church. It's always our pleasure to get out in the community and let them know who we serve and how they can help!

Beyond basic necessities
the agencies also need simple educational toys to take into their client's homes to help stimulate babies and toddlers to develop successfully. We created our BITS Bag project to help fill this important need. The deadline for complete bags or project goods is fast approaching. If you can help with any of these items please contact Jill at [email protected] to let her know
how you can help. Our goal is to give these early education toys out to 500 children in Merrimack Valley in April. These BITS bags will go to therapist workers so that they can leave the toys in the home for the child and parent to play and practice between visits. Last year we gave out 600+ bags to families in Merrimack Valley. Follow this link for more information about the BITS Bags project. You can help by donating filled bags, collect items, or sponsor a bag by making a financial
contribution and we will supply a bag in your name, to honor a family member or in the name of your company. If you prefer not to shop follow the link to Donate Now . If you prefer to do your shopping online you can order from our BITS Bag Amazon wish list and ship directly to us. Deadline for project is Saturday, April 1st.

Many thanks to our brave donors who weathered last week's snows to keep the warehouse supplied, especially to:

The Murphy family for sponsoring the purchase of bags for our BITS project

Barbara Shea for new clothing
Malinda O'Donnell for BITS supplies through Amazon gifting
