Hey, Girlfriends!

As Fashion Week wraps up and the tent is put away for another year, GFF is glowing with special memories made possible for four of our recipients, Sadia Hammad, Jackie Davis, Maria Corona and Erin Teran. Tracy Worthington, owner of Just Blow Dry's on El Paseo, treated them to makeovers before they were sent on their way to experience Fashion Week for the first time courtesy of Girlfriend Amy Grubb.

We can all feel great that Girlfriends not only subsidize our recipients' educational goals, we also celebrate and encourage them in life's experiences.

Thanks to all of you who let us know what a fabulous time you had at this year's LBD Reception during Fashion Week. What a joyous evening!!

We would be remiss if we didn't give a huge shout out to our sponsors who helped make the evening such a great success:

Kaiser Grille, Nothing Bundt Cakes and  Spa Girl Cocktails spoiled our  G2Gs during their pre-LBD Reception event. If you're not familiar with this group, it's our fun-loving young professional women who are like-minded in areas of personal development, social responsibility and relationship building. Check out their Facebook page.

Ruth's Chris Steak House  again complimented our drinks with delicious appetizers before the El Paseo runway show. We thank them for their continued support of our mission!

And finally, thank you to ALL the retailers who so generously donated items for our most successful raffle yet!
