THE EASTER EGG HUNT was a big success thanks to the many donations of eggs stuffed with all kinds of treats.  We hope to make this an annual event.  If you like,  you can return your empty eggs to the office and we will save them for next year. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a successful first year!


 
ST. MARGARET'S CIRCLE St. Margaret's Circle will meet on Tuesday April 25th in the library at 7:30 p.m. Please come check us out as we do some bible study, have some fellowship time and do a little business. Newcomers are always welcome.



C.H.A.T. CELEBRATION DINNER In the past few years, St. Matthew's has supported the Church Hill Activities and Tutoring Ministry (C.H.A.T.) in many different ways through donations and volunteering opportunities. Our Mission Committee has purchased a group of tickets to their Annual Celebration Dinner and invites, on a first come basis, the St Matt's family to enjoy the fellowship and see for yourselves the wonderful things God is doing for the youth of Church Hill. The Event is April 27th at 6:00 p.m. A shuttle will be available from St Matthew's for those wanting a ride.  For tickets or information contact Bill Selden at 240-1401 or [email protected].



EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN SPRING MEETING  LIVING INTO OUR BAPTISMAL COVENANT Enjoy our program, sharing, fellowship, prayer and worship with women of all ages from our diocese! Please bring a daughter, granddaughter or friend Saturday, May 6th, 2017; 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. (registration 12:30 p.m.) Where: Emmanuel Church, Harrisonburg, VA .  More information can be found at ecw.thediocese.net.
  
   
ST. MATTHEW'S LADIES
Please join us for a Tea Party on May 7th at 3:30 p.m. to honor Scottie Alley.  This will be our opportunity to thank her for the 20+ years of service she has provided to the St. Matthew's family.  We will be gathering cards and notes for Scottie in a basket at the tea.  We invite ladies of all ages to come in tea party attire.  (Child care will be provided for little ones that may need it.)
