GovCon Networking to Benefit March for Babies
When: Thursday, April 13, 2017
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m
Where: Chima
8010 Towers Crescent Dr #100
Vienna, VA 22182

The Cause: The March for Babies proceeds help fund research to prevent premature births, birth defects, and infant mortality. Every year, more than half a million babies are born prematurely and more than 120,000 are born with serious birth defects in the United States. In 2013, there were at least 11,000 preterm births in Virginia, representing +11.0% of live births. Prematurity is the leading cause of newborn death and a major determinant of illness and disability among infants, including developmental delays, chronic respiratory problems, and vision and hearing impairment.

The Team: UnitedHealthcare and the University of Virginia Club of Washington, DC have teamed up with local government contractors to contribute to this great cause by hosting this networking event. Special thanks goes to Oanh Rubink, Bridie Sullivan, and Casey Kehoe and the whole UHC Reston Team for leading the fight for a better future.

Tickets: The ticket price for the event is $20 and proceeds will go towards the March for Babies and matched by UnitedHealthcare! To attend the event and purchase tickets, please register here: https://securelb.imodules.com/s/1535/16-uva/index.aspx?sid=1535&gid=16&pgid=15899&cid=27472
