horses changing lives

" Charlie can be described as a happy 7 year-old.  He has Down Syndrome with the typical challenges of being mostly non-verbal and having low muscle tone. However, in the course of a year of riding Pumpkin, we have seen amazing improvements in both his attempts at speech and strengthening of his core.
Riding Pumpkin is the highlight of Charlie's week.
Every day that he comes home from school, the first thing he says is 'Kin?'.  And when I answer yes, today you go to ride, his eyes light up and his excitement is undeniable."
