Arbor Day is Friday, April 28. Donate to have a tree planted in a national forest in honor of a loved one.

Shape up safely in spring: 
Cycling
: Have your bike checked thoroughly. Increase total mileage weekly by no more than 20%. Golf: Practice with slow, easy swings. Target arms, lower back and trunk with stretching and strengthening exercises.Tennis: Upper-body exercises are important. Walking: If you didn't exercise in winter, start by walking for only 10 minutes a day. Add an extra five minutes to each day every week.
 
Get around to filing your taxes before Tax Day. (April 15th): It may be boring, but it's one of those things that just has to get done.
Finish filing those taxes and then treat yourself to something fun!

Uber Technologies Inc. is suspending its self-driving car program after one of its autonomous vehicles was involved in a high-impact crash in Tempe, Arizona, the latest incident for a company reeling from multiple crises.

In a photo posted on Twitter, one of Uber's Volvo self-driving SUVs is pictured on its side next to another car with dents and smashed windows. An Uber spokeswoman confirmed the incident, and the veracity of the photo, and added that the ride-hailing company is suspending its autonomous tests in Arizona until it completes its investigation and pausing its Pittsburgh operations.
