We have just returned from the AVCA Annual Convention. This is our JVA staff's favorite time of the year. We are able to interact with so many of our members, partners and colleagues. Here is a re-cap of Convention, including the JVA Annual Meeting.

This year the JVA is honoring 8 individuals from JVA member clubs with the JVA Junior Club Service Award for their service to junior volleyball for over 20 years. Read more.
A setter has many responsibilities and expectations are very high for this position. She is the player that runs the court and is ultimately in charge of the offense. Let's take a look at the various responsibilities and expectations of a setter in hopes that during this season coaches can help their setters take on these responsibilities, and players can set goals to meet these expectations. JVA Announces 2018 Beach Sponsor Clubs

The JVA is proud to announce the five beach clubs named 2018 JVA Sponsor Clubs. In it's third consecutive year of the JVA Sponsorship Program, these five beach clubs join the 59 indoor clubs to set a new record for JVA Sponsor Clubs.

For college coaches, the regular season has ended and the crazy season has started. Crazy season? This is the time of year when college coaches conduct end of the season player meetings and the Athletic Directors conduct end of the season coaches meetings.  Both of these meetings will result in roster openings; some spots will become available immediately, while other spots won't open up until after the New Year.
