UPC Welcomes New Member Ruth Lorío
Session met Sunday, April 2 to welcome Ruth Lorío (pronounced lo-RI-o) as our newest member, by reaffirmation of faith. She was previously a member of Presbyterian churches in Missouri and Mexico.

Ruth recently moved to Austin to be near her adult children Elena and Alex. Ruth already serves UPC as an event host, when the public is invited to the UPC sanctuary. She has volunteered with UPLift and would like to serve as an usher, and assist with transportation and lunches.

Please welcome Ruth warmly into our UPC family the next time you see her!
Thank You
from the Christian Formation Team!

On behalf of the Christian Formation Committee, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for all those who participated in our two recent town hall sessions. Your voice is important and the feedback we receive was profoundly informative. If you weren't able to make it to one of the town hall sessions, copies of the feedback forms will be available in all Sunday school classes over the next few weeks. Forms and any additional comments or ideas can be sent in to John Leedy.

Please keep the Christian Formation team in your prayers as we prepare for another amazing year here at UPC.

Austin Gathering April 13

The Mission of Faith & Grief Ministries is to provide ongoing comfort to persons who have experienced the death of a loved one. As we prayerfully discern our mission, we value most the gifts of the Holy Spirit’s gentle and restless source of comfort; community that understands grief and mourning; compassion revealed in silence, listening, tears, and surprising laughter; stories that speak truth in love and promote wholeness; and collaboration that joins strength to strength. The Austin area Faith & Grief Gathering occurs April 13
at noon, Westminster Presbyterian Church. Lunch is free; registration is required.
