Easter Altar

Dear Friends,

Alleluia! Christ is Risen!
The Lord is Risen Indeed! Alleluia!

What an amazing Holy Week and Easter we had at All Saints this year!

Thank you to all who worked to ensure all the details were taken care of and to all who came to worship. I pray we all know the joy of new hope, new life, and the mystery of resurrection.

Remember, Easter is a season, not just one day, so be prepared to celebrate every Sunday through Pentecost with great Easter hymns, asperges (sprinkling with holy water), and standing for Communion.

And during the first two weekends of Easter we have great celebrations! This Saturday, we Celebrate the Ministry of Bishop Waynick as she prepares to retire after 20 years of leadership as our Bishop. The following Saturday, The Rev'd Jennifer Baskerville-Burrows will be consecrated as our next Bishop. I hope you will be able to attend one or both of these great events in the life of our Diocese! See below for more information.

Beloved, you are beautiful, I love you, and God adores you.

In Christ,  Mother Suzanne+

Opportunity to help our neighbors at Dayspring!

We will be providing and serving dinner to the Dayspring residents on Thursday, April 27, 2017.  We usually arrive by 5:30 pm, serve dinner at 6:00 pm, and are often finished serving and cleaning up by 7:15 pm.  If you would like to help in some way, either this month or in the future, with this monthly ministry, by providing food, helping to serve, and/or helping to clean up, please contact Penny Scott at [email protected].

On Thursday, April 27, dozens of participating restaurants, breweries and bars from Greenwood to Geist to Greenwood and points between will donate 25% or 50% of diners' bills to support The Damien Center's work towards a future free of HIV!

Check out the restaurant map to find the right spots for you, your friends, and work colleagues to participate, from breakfast through pub crawls!

GOOD FRIENDS, GOOD FOOD, GOOD GAMES

We (Cody & Kalen Jones) are hosting a mixer / game night on  Friday, April 28th for newer folks and fellow young-ish adults from All Saints to get to know each other better and have some fun! We've got a wide variety of games, so even if (and especially if!) you haven't played anything since Monopoly as a kid, we've got something you'll enjoy.

Good food and drink go great with games, so feel free to bring your favorite appetizer, dessert, or beverage to share.

We'll start at 6:30pm, but feel free to come when you're able. Kids and spouses / SOs are very welcome.

If you think you'll be attending and / or have any questions, please fill out the RSVP form HERE. Hope to see you there!

Go to:   allsaintsindy.org/gamenight to sign up or ask questions (or talk to Cody at Mass).

Would you be interested in attending this play as an All Saints group?

Tickets would be $25/person if we bought as a group, and we would book for either Thursday, May 11 or Friday, May 12.

If interested please let Mother Suzanne know which night would work best for you.... [email protected]
